Emergency Care Comes First
In an emergency, our medical team acts fast to ensure immediate assessment, stabilisation, and treatment before anything else. No delays, no paperwork barriers, just expert care when you need it most.
Triage and Waiting Time
When you arrive, we check your vital signs to assess your condition. Our triage system uses this information to make sure the most serious cases are seen first, so patients with less urgent needs may wait a bit longer.
This helps ensure that anyone in a life-threatening situation gets immediate care.
Registration
Your personal details and medical history is collected. Our administrator will ask for your ID document and Medical Aid details , if applicable.
Examination and Diagnosis
During examination, a healthcare provider will assess your symptoms, medical history and vital signs and perform an examination. Diagnostic tests such as blood work or imaging, may be ordered to confirm a condition.
The healthcare provider will analyse the findings to determine the most likely diagnosis.
Emergency Treatment
Emergency treatment focuses on stabilising patients and addressing life-threatening conditions immediately. This may include administering medications, performing procedures, providing oxygen and IV fluids or admission and referral if needed.
Discharge and After Care
Discharge and aftercare ensure that you continue your recovery after leaving the hospital. Virtual consultations provide a free online follow-up care, allowing you to discuss progress and concerns remotely.
Billing Procedure
Your ER Consulting bill covers the emergency doctor’s consultation, procedures, and any medical devices provided.
The hospital will bill you separately for facility use and medical supplies.
You may also get separate bills from specialists like radiologists (scans) or pathologists (lab tests).
